What Little Girls Want

I did a post a long time ago about what little girls want and I mentioned a gift that my dad gave me when I was 5. The gift was Strawberry Shortcake barrettes. I LOVED them. Seeing theses Ariel ribbon barrettes, reminded me of them and how much I loved them. I want my nieces to have these!

Wedding Time

April 3rd we went to Mike and Sara's wedding. I still have no idea how we found the venue. We were totally lost even with my gps, and pulled into a parking lot to avoid being sent back on the freeway and realized we were at the correct place.


Fun to see some of the current people still at the old work place...

...and even more fun to see all the people that worked with me way back in the day....

Sara made a b-e-a-utiful bride! The only one I have ever see giggle and jump up and down when the pastor introduced them as husband and wife.

Looks like another wedding in June....hmmm....I wonder now how many people have gotten married after meeting at that company.

Month of Silence

Today marks the one month since I found out that I was right all along and my company had no idea what they were doing and could no long afford a sales force. In fact the words they used in telling us the situation were, "in order to save the company, we are eliminating the sales force." The CEO also went bye bye, but they did not mention that one.

So I have been looking for a job. And going to the beach in the middle of the week. And looking for a job. Did a friend's laundry once. Babysat once. Celebrated St. Patty's Day. Went to a Wedding. Went barefoot on TOMS "A Day Without Shoes." Went to the circus. You know, all the things one does when suddenly finding themselves unemployed.
