I have become such a fan of The Biggest Loser. Now before you judge me and tell me I have no weight to lose, hear me out. I am in awe of these people that make such an effort to change their lives. It inspires me to make changes in my own. It is pretty obvious that no one becomes overweight in a day, and no one becomes fit in a day. It is habits that put us in bad places and retraining ourselves that brings us back to where we need to be. I used to say that I do not make New Year's resolutions, because I make my resolutions when I see a need. But watching these contestants inspires me every week and makes me want to make more of my life.

My valentine balloon is hiding under the table. Not sure what he is scared of, but I am trying to not make any sudden movements or loud noises.

Seattle

Conrad and I took a little trip to Seattle and I have to admit it was fabulous. It was such a strange feeling when we arrived at the airport and I realized that it has been a super long time since I have traveled with anyone. I remember one of the last times I traveled with someone and I realized that I was better off traveling alone. I was a little nervous thinking maybe I would be anxious and unfit to have a traveling companion..... But I think it is safe to say that I am fit to travel with others now. We had such a fun time. The whole time.

You know how people always make a big deal about not playing favorites? Well sometimes you just can not help it. I love this picture of me and two of my favorite boys....one is an old favorite and one is a new favorite. And I am glad they got to meet each other.

Stuck in my Head

Some days I wake up with a song stuck in my head. I never know why a particular song makes its way into my subconcious while I sleep. Half the time it is a song I do not even really know. It would make sense if it was a Jackson Browne song or a Jimmy Buffett song, but it never is. A few years ago I woke up to "...dirty deeds, done dirt cheap..." Maybe it had something to do with how I felt about my job. Who knows. A few weeks ago I woke up to "....finally, it has happened to me..." It was driving me crazy, and when I had time, I looked it up. Turns out it is on the "The Adventures of Priscilla Quessn of the Desert" soundtrack. It is still a mystery why it was in my head. I'm willing to guess that right now I feel like it is finally happening to me. I feel like even though my life is not perfect, there are enough things right in it that I am calm and content. Hmmm...for now. Anything could change in the next minute.
