Today I feel like a lab rat that some scientist is watching and laughing at because I just can not learn!
Here is the situation. In my office building, inside the elevators the buttons for the floors are on both sides of the door. So no matter which side of the elevator you stand, you can still have access to the buttons. Not all elevators are like this. Everyday I am constantly walking into office buildings and elevators. It seemed that I was frequently looking for buttons where there were none. So I decided to start paying attention and look for trends. Here are my findings: on most elevators, when one enters an elevator car the buttons will be on the left (if they are not on both sides). And I always turn to the right. ALWAYS! Even though I have started paying attention, I always turn to the right, and wouldn't you know, there are no buttons there. So incredibly frustrating.
I feel like a lab rat that knows the way out of the maze and still goes the wrong way.

There is a door that goes downstairs to the offices, still whenever it is closed I lean on the wrong side to have it open, and I have been working here since July...
The first step in fixing a problem is realizing that you have one...
