Fantastically Long Weekend

My very own Celeste Pie came to visit me this weekend. It was not a disappointment. Since she came on Thursday night, the weekend seemed to last longer than usual, and I was not mad at it. Friday night we had sushi, did a little Christmas shopping and then met up with some acquaintances of mine for drinks on Abbot Kinney. The drinks were fabulous. We discovered some new ingredients that I feel confident we will be using in the future. Saturday we ventured out to Riverside to meet up with a friend of hers and a little more Christmas shopping. The drive home from Riverside was a little less than desirable with no less than three accidents/stalled vehicles to slow us all down. Luckily for me, I was not alone in the traffic misery. We finished out the day with pizza, wine and a movie. Sunday we did a little more shopping. What can I say, the shopping is better here than in Sonora. We stopped at the Counter for fabulous burgers on our way to the airport and remembered to take a picture. That is our style. Carry the camera all weekend and then right at the last second take a picture.
