There were two distinct parts to my Annual Meeting weekend. The part that included Annual Meeting and the part that did not. I am starting with the AM part for the sake of my dad and the Shark....
So here it is, my little glimpse of Annual Meeting 2009. I honestly think my experience of Annual Meeting was one of my best ever. Which is ironic considering most members probably had the exact opposite experience. I saw so many people that I really love and never get to see. Ok, let's be honest, I could see most of them if I made a real effort, but just hasn't happened in the last few years.

I love this kind of sign. Not sure why. I also like the use of the word "straight." Are they trying to evoke the "straight and narrow" feeling?

I have no idea who are meeting on the porch but in my head, it is the Standing Committee. Or maybe it is other elders cahooting. Who knows.

Saturday lunch in the Dining Tent with two favorite people.

More favorite people. Celeste-pie meeting my Aunt Marla for the first time.

The twins look less than enthused about the photo session. They were having a hard time remembering who I was even though Aunt Lisa told them I was someone "special." I appreciate the effort, Aunt Lisa!

Celeste meeting her namesake. I am totally impressed that Celeste namaged to earn a namesake in the short time she hung out with me and the GBs.

And finally, at the last moment, on my way to the car on Sunday, I saw Amy. I even got to meet Warren who was snoozing in the van.
