So I was thinking the other night....if I died, how long would it take anyone to notice? For me I am guessing at least four days. I was discussing this with some people and one of them claimed he would notice....umm, yeah, and it has been three weeks since we have even chatted. Nice thought, but he would not notice. My work? I do not have an office to go to, so they would not notice. Kind of a weird feeling. Not like it would matter, cause I would be dead. Maybe I have been watching too much "Dead Like Me."

"...what would I die from first in space?...." "how long would it be before someone noticed I died?"..
You need therapy.
hey, you are the one that talked me into this blog thing....and now you are complaining about the things that go through my head and make it to the blog? Some people you can never please!
Well... I would be very concerned when I could not get a hold of you for that long, and I would notice if I lived in la la land...
Um, first off, there is no such thing as "too much 'Dead Like Me'". That show is the most brilliant series ever to be cancelled.
On a more macabre note, and one that relates to your post, a former co-worker of mine passed away recently. He was found the following day. The sad thing, though, is that he was found by his (and my) former boss. The man had very few people in this world with whom he was close - few family members left alive, and no friends other than those people he worked with. So, in a few months, when the memory of him fades from the workplace, it will be like he never existed.
Anyhow, your post got me thinking, and I've come to the conclusion that it matters far less how long it will take for me to be found than how long I will be remembered (and by whom) after I'm found.
Oh, and now you've gone and done it, by the way. If a few days go by without a blog from you, C-Pie and I are going to be pounding at your door!
