YO HO YO HO

......a pirate's life for me!

For Conrad's birthday, Ernie bought four tickets to the Pirate's Dinner Adventure. Last night we set sail and had so much fun. The Pirate's Dinner Adventure is very similar to Medieval Times and actually located next door. If you are looking for gourmet food, quiet evening and quality theater, this is not the place to go. If you are looking to have fun with friends, expend silliness and act like a pirate, this is definitely the place to go!

Similar to Medieval Times, the audience is six sections and assigned a color and a pirate to cheer for. We were red on the side of Captain Jack. Ernie had conveniently reserved us front row seats which luckily were not a "splash zone," as I worried they might be. Captain Jack appointed me as the section cheerleader which meant I had control of the red flag. I was a very good cheerleader. That is a sentence I thought I would never utter.

The show was loud full of gunshots, yelling, fighting, swinging on ropes, and singing. In the middle of the show at a significantly quieter moment, the Pirate Captain brought a group of kids on stage and read them the pirate code and swore them in.

At the end of the show we took more pics and chatted with Captain Jack until the staff asked us to leave. Apparently we were a good audience, because Jack contacted Conrad today and asked us to share the pics we took last night.
