This week we had Shabbat Dinner for real. We got out the Kiddush cup my mom brought us from Israel. We bought a white tablecloth, and we invited some friends over. My cousin Jessica was here for the weekend and we invited my friend Aron with his girlfriend and our neighbor Katy. Since we do not remember the order and all the songs, we had cheat sheets out and even copied the songs for our guests. Besides Aron they all seemed indifferent to the ritual stuff. Since tv is not recommended for Shabbat so we played half a game of Risk until we were yawning too much to go further (plus it was clear Aron was winning anyway.)
All in all it was a successful dinner and I can not wait for the next one.
